We Interrupt This Program!

So we all know that certain electronic songs achieve near omnipotence in today's media, especially if there's a catchy hook, no matter how damn annoying that hook may be (such as the sax line from Pit Bull's "Anthem"). However, we often forget about the comedic use for music, and www.ytmnd.com is there to help us remember. For instance, a "trend" developed on this comedy site a year or two ago, when a disturbing video arose on the Internet, showing two boys burning a cat to death. Quickly, parodies of the event developed, and people needed music to go along with this.

Coburn's "We Interrupt This Program" was only too happy to fill the need.

Although there are SEVERAL remixes of this dramatically epic techno song (check out these search results: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=we+interrupt+this+program&search_type=&aq=0&oq=we+interrupt+thi), all are very catchy and all sorts of them are used in the parody videos on that site. Simply search "NEDM" on www.ytmnd.com and prepare to be thoroughly entertained, with plenty of videos and photos set to the same infectiously melodic song.

Check that!
